The Sisters of Mary Reparatrix

We are women who have experienced God´s tenderness and want to be channels for other people to experience this too. We are aware of the realities of the world loved by God and the task of women and men created in his image to live in harmony with God, creation, fellow human beings and themselves. We feel the pain of current times, both for creation and human beings. That is why we have chosen to announce and share the Good News of God's Love, that cares, repairs, reconciles and heals our lives which are hurt by evil and sin.

Our founder Emilie followed Jesus in his mission of reparation and felt the call to live her life in the way of Mary and the spirit of St Ignatius of Loyola.
Our mission is to love this world with the sensitivity and strength of a woman and a mother.  We are apostolic religious, who want to be at the service of God and our brothers and sisters, especially those who are poorest. We live out our mission through prayer, accompaniment, catechesis, the Ignatian exercises, missionary service, work in parishes and all forms of presence and commitment that help people to grow and develop in faith and humanity.

The Department of Solidarity and Development

The Department of Solidarity and Development (DSD) serves as the first point of contact for communities and groups that want to apply for SMR funding.  We serve as an advisory body to the General Council in the approval of project financing and work on their behalf to give follow-up to the projects through reports and monitoring visits.

We also offer assistance to SMR communities, and associates and groups linked to the congregation, in the planning, implementation and evaluation of projects and the search for additional donors.

So, if you need help with funding and/ or with training and capacity building in an area related to project management, we are here to offer you support.
